My favourite dumpling restaurant ! Don’t expect 5 star decor. )Clean and pleasant ) but you will get the best dumplings! There are plenty of other options and the fried rice is great My go to place when visiting Auckland

I haven't been here for years and totally forgot about it. Stopped in after 8pm returning from Central out south and felt like some yumcha. The siumai and dumplings were juicy and packed full of flour. Spare ribs were nice. Sweet and sour was one of the best I've had in awhile. Beans always a fave anywhere. Squid was melt in your mouth my fave thing of the night 🙌 Staff were friendly even though we came in late close to closing.

Best homemade dumplings in Royal Oak. Tasty. Vegetables are always fresh and crisp. Garlic bok choy is fantastic. Going to this restaurant is like being welcomed to a family home. Maybe they should correct the spelling to Royal Dumpling.

We stumbled upon this place because we were waiting for something around dinner time. The owner's family was there having dinner at the same time. They were such lovely people who were exceptionally nice to our little boy! The older gentleman was so friendly to our son to the point that he would show him around while we were having dinner. Usually, eating out with a toddler comes with a chaos and shovelling food into your mouth in a hurry - but we could enjoy their yummy food thanks to them. I would have given them 10 stars for the service if I could 😊 Food was hot and delicious! The fantastic thing is that they have a smaller portion size version of a big dish, so you can have them like tapas if you are a big fan of varieties. A little gem in Royal Oak :)
